I recommend avoiding overly matching outfits. Choose complimentary colours and simple textures. For an outdoor Cardiff family photoshoot, dress for the weather; for studio sessions, solid colours often photograph beautifully.
How long does a typical Cardiff family photoshoot last?
Most sessions run between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the package you choose. There’s plenty of time for different groupings and a mix of guided and natural moments.
Can we include pets?
Yes — well-behaved pets are welcome in studio and outdoors. Just let me know in advance so I can plan around your pet’s needs too.
What if my child is shy or restless?
That’s completely normal. I keep sessions relaxed and work at your child’s pace, so we can capture real connection without pressure.
Can we choose the location?
Yes — you can choose studio, home, or an outdoor location around Cardiff and the Vale. If you’re unsure, I can suggest spots that photograph beautifully and work well for children.
When will we receive our images?
You can usually expect a sneak peek within a week, and your full gallery within 2–3 weeks, depending on the time of year.
Do digital files come with print rights?
Yes — your high-resolution files are for personal printing and sharing. If you’d like professional prints or wall art, I can help you choose beautiful products to suit your home.
What if it rains?
If the weather isn’t suitable, we can reschedule your outdoor session or switch to a studio family photoshoot in Dinas Powys.
